The PLANE (Partnership for Learning for All in Nigeria) Project is committed to improving teaching and learning experiences fostering a more inclusive and effective basic education system across the country. As a key partner in the project, MSwitch Media played a vital role in ensuring seamless execution through project management, media coverage, and the production of high-quality Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials.
Our involvement in the project began with comprehensive project management, where we oversaw the planning, coordination, and execution of various activities to ensure smooth implementation and alignment with the project’s educational objectives. Additionally, we provided full-scale media coverage, capturing key moments through professional photography, videography, and digital storytelling to amplify the project’s visibility. To showcase milestones further and impact, we developed high-quality visual documentation that effectively communicated the project’s success stories to stakeholders and the wider public.
Beyond media engagement, MSwitch Media was responsible for bulk printing essential learning materials under the KaLMA (Kano Literacy and Mathematics Accelerator) initiative, which aimed to provide pupils with resources supporting home-based and in-school learning. These materials, designed for various English, Hausa, and Mathematics learning levels, were developed to enhance engagement and improve literacy and numeracy skills among young learners.
Our contribution extended to designing culturally relevant and visually engaging illustrations that resonated with the pupils’ demographic, ensuring relatability and comprehension. We refined the educational content, structuring it to maximize learning effectiveness before managing the bulk printing process to maintain high-quality production standards. As a result, MSwitch Media successfully produced and distributed learning materials for 3 million pupils across Kano State, reinforcing the foundation for improved educational outcomes.
Through our expertise in project execution, media strategy, and educational content production, MSwitch Media played a crucial role in the success of the PLANE Project. By bridging the gap between home-based and in-school learning, we contributed to shaping a more effective and accessible basic education system in Nigeria.
